John E. Turner, LMFT

I have been a therapist for over 35 years.  In that time, I have practiced and provided clinical supervision for Bingham Child Guidance Clinic and for Family and Children’s Agency.  I have maintained a private clinical practice for 35 years and that has been the heart of my professional career.

I  specialize in counseling couples and also serve many individuals in my practice that face relationship problems, depression, anxiety and other mental health issues.  I have consulted with family businesses through an affiliation with the University of Louisville Family Business Center.  

I have served as adjunct faculty with the University of Louisville Kent School of Social Work, the University of Louisville Family Therapy Program and taught a course on couple work at Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary.  I have presented workshops on family therapy and couples therapy throughout the Midwest.

I was honored to be the recipient of the 2003 Award for Distinguished Contributions to Marriage and Family Therapy by The Kentucky Association for Marriage and Family Therapy.
 
My office hours are 8:30 AM through 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Online Therapy sessions are scheduled at a mutually determined time that may be out of regular office hours.
